While 3G handsets still can"t quite keep up with the benchmarks that GSM handsets set for slimness, they are catching up surprisingly fast - the LG U880 sports a decidedly skinny 18.2mm thickness when closed. The rest of is non to bulky either and if you compare it against something like Sony Ericsson"s basic 3G handset, the V600i, it shorter, thinner and only slightly wider. MP3 and AAC support, along with MPEG 4 compatibility potentially make this handset a bit of media device and the addition of a TransFlash card slot seems to back that up. A nice clear 262k colour screen and swivelling 1.3 megapixel camera suits the handset to those 3G video calls.
